Configuring Netscape for Mail:

Once you have the Netscape Navigator downloaded and installed, these are the steps to configure it to receive mail from your local ISP.
1. Open Netscape and click on Options then click Mail and News Preferences.
2. Click on the Servers tab in the middle.
3. In the "SMTP (outgoing mail server)" field, type in: mail.your_local_isp.net
4. In the "POP (outgoing mail server)" field, type in: mail.your_local_isp.net
5. In the "POP Username" field, type in your username, all lowercase letters.
6. Click on the Identity tab.
7. In the "Your Email" field type username@your_local_isp.net
8. Click on the Organization tab.
9. Place a check mark in the box entitled "Remember Mail Password".
10. Click OK and this should allow Netscape to send and receive mail.
